PADI Seal Team

PADI Seal Team

The PADI Seal Team is a program specifically designed for young scuba divers aged 8 to 12. It is an introductory course offered by PADI, one of the largest and most recognized scuba diving organizations in the world. The program aims to introduce children to the world of scuba diving in a safe and enjoyable manner.

During the PADI Seal Team program, children learn basic scuba skills and participate in fun underwater activities. The program consists of AquaMissions, which are similar to underwater challenges or games. These AquaMissions take place in a pool or confined water environment under the supervision of a PADI Instructor.

The AquaMissions cover various skills and activities, such as breathing underwater, clearing a snorkel, recovering a regulator, swimming with fins, navigating through obstacles, and playing games underwater. The goal is to make the learning experience exciting and engaging for young divers, while also instilling important safety principles and building confidence in the water.

Upon completing a certain number of AquaMissions, children earn the PADI Seal Team recognition. This recognition serves as a stepping stone towards further scuba diving courses, such as the PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification, which is available for children aged 10 and above.
